Job Title: Procurement Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in Madagascar. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the procurement function for our REACH Malaria program, ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in a transparent, accountable, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the program's goals and objectives
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to contract award, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and internal policies
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate prices
- Develop and manage procurement budgets and forecasts
- Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
About the Role
- The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading the procurement function for the REACH Malaria program in Madagascar
- The role will involve working closely with the program team, donors, and other stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with the program's goals and objectives
- The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, as well as experience working in a similar role in a developing country context

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a developing country context
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices
- Experience working with donors, such as USAID, DFID, or the World Bank
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Fluency in English and French
