What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist in the delivery of major development applications, including submitting and managing planning applications while liaising with local planning authorities and stakeholders.
  • Provide planning advice to colleagues and clients on consent requirements, produce planning feasibility reports, and develop consent strategies.
  • Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and preparing commercial tenders.
  • Oversee project management, ensuring quality and adherence to health and safety principles while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.

Required qualifications:

  • Experience working on infrastructure planning projects, with particular expertise in DCO (Development Consent Order) projects.
  • Ability to lead major development applications and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across various project types.
  • Skills in producing planning feasibility reports, consent strategies, and planning statements for development applications.
  • Experience in business development, client relationship building, and preparing commercial tenders.
