Principal Power Systems Engineer

• Perform power system studies including EMT studies, steady state studies, and model development
• Provide advisory support to generation, large load and merchant transmission developers while managing project timelines and budgets
• Lead, teach and mentor junior level Power Systems Engineers
• Develop expertise in power system modelling software and maintain strong understanding of relevant industry standards

• 8+ years of experience in power system modelling and power system studies
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis
• Proficiency in power system modelling software such as PSCAD, PSSE, ETAP or equivalents
• Experience with Data Center equipment dynamics, conventional generation machine dynamics, and control system tuning is an asset
