Principal, Market Insights & Characterization

• Lead a Practice Area focused on technical excellence and growth in the California energy efficiency and demand side management market
• Lead business development activities including monitoring opportunities, proposal efforts, white papers, and client relationships
• Foster innovation within the practice area, leading projects and providing oversight to multi-dimensional teams
• Engage with diverse stakeholders including utility clients, regulators, intervenors, and program administrators

This role helps drive lasting, impactful change by leveraging transformative digital solutions and expertise to strengthen society and the natural world through energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives.

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, economics, planning, environmental science, business, or related subject
• 15-18 years of work experience in energy efficiency or utility industry, including at least 6 years of consulting experience
• Deep understanding of California energy efficiency and demand side management markets and regulatory processes
• Excellent project management, written communication, and presentation skills
