Principal Management Consultant

Core responsibilities include:

• Shape clients' change and transformation plans, ensuring alignment with business cases and wider organisational objectives
• Lead day-to-day, client-facing Advisory work, managing delivery, priorities, and relationships
• Think strategically, applying critical analysis and insight to complex problems and uncertain contexts
• Challenge assumptions and options, and present credible, persuasive alternatives that support better decision-making
• Work as part of collaborative delivery teams across the UK, UAE, and USA
• Build strong relationships across AECOM, including Programme Management, Economics, and Strategic Procurement, as well as engineering, architecture and master planning
• Operate across the full spectrum of consultancy, from advising executive leadership and shaping direction to leading workshops and producing high-quality outputs
• Build strong relationships with Clients, spending time working on client sites across the UK and UAE, as required
• Support and develop junior team members, helping build change and transformation capability for the future

• Experience in management consulting with deep, practical infrastructure experience
• Ability to work closely with senior decision-makers across public and private sectors

• Experience in strategy and transformation, operational excellence, and change management
• Ability to navigate complexity and build resilient, inclusive, future-ready businesses
• Strong commercial judgement and client-focused approach
• Experience working in ambiguous environments where the path forward is not yet clear
• Ability to manage complex cultural and hierarchical stakeholder relationships
• Experience working credibly with senior leaders while staying closely connected to delivery on the ground
