Principal ICT & Security Consultant

Core responsibilities:

• Lead the design, delivery and technical assurance of complex ICT and Security systems including structured cabling, active networks, WLAN, IPTV, audio-visual systems, video conferencing, CCTV, electronic access control, intruder alarm, intercom, perimeter intrusion detection and Type 1A security alarm systems.
• Provide strategic direction across the full project lifecycle, including early concept development, project costing, design governance, client engagement, contractor oversight and participation in bids/tenders.
• Act as a technical authority, using your multi-disciplinary experience to mentor, coach and develop engineers across the national team while contributing to continuous improvement of our design methodologies and standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, leading stakeholder engagement, overseeing site investigations and providing high-level, commercially aware and technically robust solutions.

This role contributes to critical infrastructure projects across defence, health, education, sports, aviation and justice sectors, helping build secure and reliable systems that serve communities and national interests.

Required skills and experience:

• Experience in design, delivery and technical assurance of complex ICT and Security systems
• Ability to provide strategic direction across full project lifecycle including concept development, costing, design governance, and bid participation
• Multi-disciplinary technical expertise with mentoring and coaching capabilities
• Strong client relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills
