Principal Geomorphologist

Core responsibilities include:

• Leading high-quality project delivery for sustainable geomorphology and river restoration schemes
• Planning, managing, modelling, and designing river restoration projects
• Coordinating multi-discipline teams on all aspects of river restoration planning and delivery
• Providing coaching to peers and junior team members and liaising with clients

This role creates positive change by designing and implementing sustainable river restoration projects that improve water environments, support wildlife habitats, and contribute to natural flood management across the UK and internationally.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Expertise in geomorphology/hydromorphology and river restoration
• Experience with river engineering, detailed design, contractor supervision, and CDM Regulations
• Proficiency in hydraulic and geomorphological/sediment transport modelling
• Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multi-discipline teams
