Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Perform EMT studies and model benchmarking studies in accordance with IEEE, ISO and Utility guidelines.
- Lead and perform advanced large-load power system modeling and dynamic impact studies to assess system performance and interconnection requirements.
- Serve as subject matter expert on EMT/RMS model benchmarking and modelling issues, specifically for EMT models.
- Identify optimal strategy for project interconnection to the grid based on system impacts and grid capacity.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in the electric energy industry with expertise in Large Load modelling and EMT studies.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one EMT software package such as PSCAD and knowledge of modelling guidelines in ERCOT.
- Experience in managing and mentoring technical teams and active participation in industry taskforces/working groups.
- Hands-on experience performing large-load modeling and analysis using industry-standard tools including PSCAD and PSS®E.
