Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Perform EMT studies and model benchmarking studies in accordance with IEEE, ISO and Utility guidelines
  • Lead and perform advanced largeโ€‘load power system modeling and dynamic impact studies to assess system performance and interconnection requirements
  • Serve as subject matter expert on EMT/RMS model benchmarking as it relates to Large Load and generator interconnection studies
  • Identify optimal strategy for project interconnection to the grid based on system impacts and grid capacity

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the electric energy industry
  • Experience in Large Load modelling and EMT studies
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one EMT software package such as PSCAD
  • Knowledge of modelling guidelines in ERCOT is required
  • Experience in managing and mentoring technical teams
