Principal Consultant, Hydrologist

• Provide technical expertise to expand water management services and client base, focusing on environmental impact assessment, permitting, risk assessment, water resources management, and site closure.
• Lead preparation of technical documents, from hands-on interpretation to delegating work and serving as senior technical reviewer.
• Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and building client relationships.
• Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams to integrate expertise and communicate findings.

Your work will help clients deliver environmental assessments, resolve permitting challenges, and guide decisions in mining lifecycle, contributing to sustainable resource management and environmental protection.

• Master's Degree in civil or environmental engineering or related field.
• 8+ years (15+ preferred) of consulting experience in water resource management, impact assessment, and permitting in the Mining Sector.
• Specific expertise in hydrometeorology, water balance and/or geochemical modeling, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, and environmental water quality modeling.
• Strong regulatory knowledge, team building, client relationship skills, and people management experience.

Anticipated annual base pay: $110,190–$160,905 (USD). Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, parental leave, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, AD&D insurance, 401(k) or RRSP/DPSP, and other applicable benefits. Bonus eligible.
