Principal Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

As our new Infrastructure Principal Engineer you'll be responsible for:

• Leading the design and development of civil and infrastructure engineering inputs for a mix of project types including local authority, residential, commercial and industrial developments
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate designs with other project components
• Providing technical advice, line management and mentoring to team members to support project delivery and professional development
• Planning and managing work activities to ensure efficient and effective project execution

This role works to close the gap to a sustainable future by delivering sustainable solutions within infrastructure projects and championing Ramboll's Global Strategy 'Partner for Sustainable Change'.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Extensive technical knowledge in civil engineering including SuDS (sustainable drainage), Surface and Foul Water drainage and earthworks design and proficient in relevant standards including Sewerage Sector Guidance, DMRB, Manual for Streets and Building Regulations
• Experience in delivering projects to all RIBA Stages
• Demonstrated ability to lead single or multi-disciplinary projects and manage diverse teams
• Degree in civil engineering
• Professional accreditation as a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer or equivalent (desirable)
