Principal Aerospace Software Certification Engineer

• Act as Subject Matter Expert for System, Software, Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH) and Cybersecurity Design Assurance processes for internal development and suppliers.
• Review and approve Software/AEH life-cycle data as company DER if delegated.
• Execute System Design Assurance Reviews and Supplier Oversight for compliance with aerospace standards.
• Interface with FAA DERs and Certification Authorities for compliance reviews.

This role ensures the safety and certification of all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, advancing sustainable air mobility and reducing environmental impact.

• 15+ years of experience in System and Software/AEH Design Assurance for aerospace standards.
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Experience with full lifecycle safety critical systems complying with ARP4754A/B, ARP4761, DO-254, DO-178C.
• SW/AEH DER authorization for Part 23 DAL B.

Base pay range of $245,000 - $310,000 per year. Pay-for-performance culture. Equal opportunity employer.
