About the Role

As a Pre-Construction Project Manager for the Energy Storage team, you will lead the group's efforts in managing daily operations, coordination, and successful completion of energy storage project scope, budget, and schedule from notice of award to project mobilization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Energy Storage Preconstruction Group's efforts with daily management, coordination, and successful completion of energy storage project scope, budget, and schedule from notice of award to project mobilization
• Manage project meetings, perform cost comparisons, update project schedules, manage contract exhibits through execution, and conduct strategic buyout negotiations to maintain budget
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff while ensuring procurement activities align with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules
• Collaborate with business development, engineering, accounting, construction, and legal departments to create contract scopes of work and represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience with thorough understanding of plans and specifications
• 5-8 years field experience as Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent, plus 5+ years construction experience and 2+ years scheduling and estimating experience
• Strong leadership ability to organize diverse team members into cohesive, high-performing project teams in a remote environment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, strong computer skills with MS Office suite and industry-standard tools like Bluebeam Revu, and fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting
