PPE Program Officer

Core responsibilities:

• Conduct literature and landscape reviews to draft summaries and reports, distill information, and make relevant recommendations
• Draft reports and roadmaps including research reports, strategic roadmaps, white papers, and other materials for dissemination
• Investigate opportunities for grantmaking by sourcing and evaluating potential grantees, drafting technical sections, and performing cost-benefit analysis
• Manage grantee and contractor portfolio by tracking progress and ensuring quality of output

This role creates positive change by advancing the availability and accessibility of highly protective respiratory PPE in future outbreaks, which suppresses pathogen transmission and saves lives during pandemics.

Required qualifications:

• Excellent research skills including literature reviews, semi-structured interviews, technical deep dives, and use of emerging research tools like LLMs
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate technical and nuanced topics to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple complex projects and priorities effectively
• Relevant technical background through advanced academic study or previous work experience

Compensation and benefits:

• Base salary range: $103,086 - $142,570 USD
