Power Systems Engineer Staff II - Dynamic Modeling

Core responsibilities:

• Perform detailed bulk power system studies using various power system software such as PSCAD, PSS/e, TSAT, etc.
• Conduct IBR modeling: steady state, short circuit and dynamic in PSSE
• Perform various compliance technical assessment on IBR facility rating, protection coordination, ride through assessment.
• Prepare technical study reports for all studies performed and take responsibility for timely project completion while meeting quality and budget objectives.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electric Engineering with an emphasis in power systems
• 2-3 years of experience as a power systems engineer
• Experience performing power system impact studies such as Steady State, Short Circuit, and Dynamic Stability
• Experience with power systems software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, TSAT
