Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Perform power system impact studies including Steady State, Short Circuit, and Dynamic Stability analyses
  • Conduct NERC-compliance-related technical analyses such as TPL-001-4 Annual Planning Assessments
  • Perform full generator interconnection studies which may include Sub-Synchronous Resonance (SSR) studies
  • Ensure renewable and/or storage resource projects meet Voltage Ride-Through (VRT) requirements

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in power systems preferred
  • 2-4+ years of experience as a power systems engineer
  • Experience performing power system impact studies such as Dynamic Stability, Load Flow, Steady State, Short Circuit
  • Experience with power systems software such as PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, and TARA
