What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Analyze early available data and synthesize collective expertise to develop quantitative tools for early risk assessment of emerging respiratory viruses
- Conduct quantitative analysis of multidisciplinary surveys on health crisis definition and evaluation
- Perform systematic literature reviews and estimate key bio-clinical and epidemiological parameters
- Develop innovative metrics combining advanced statistics, mathematical epidemiology, and machine learning
- Design a computer-based decision support tool for public health actors

Required qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge in biostatistics, applied mathematics, and quantitative epidemiology
- Solid theoretical understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms
- Minimum elementary knowledge in microbiology, infectiology, and public health
- Mastery of at least one programming language (R or Python) with familiarity with the other
- Advanced level in scientific computing, statistical analysis, and data visualization
- PhD in biostatistics, quantitative epidemiology, applied mathematics, or health informatics
- B2 or C1 level in English
