What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Analyze early available data and synthesize collective expertise to develop quantitative tools for early risk assessment of emerging respiratory viruses
  • Conduct quantitative analysis of multidisciplinary surveys on health crisis definition and evaluation
  • Perform systematic literature reviews and estimate key bio-clinical and epidemiological parameters
  • Develop innovative metrics combining advanced statistics, mathematical epidemiology, and machine learning
  • Design a computer-based decision support tool for public health actors

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge in biostatistics, applied mathematics, and quantitative epidemiology
  • Solid theoretical understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms
  • Minimum elementary knowledge in microbiology, infectiology, and public health
  • Mastery of at least one programming language (R or Python) with familiarity with the other
  • Advanced level in scientific computing, statistical analysis, and data visualization
  • PhD in biostatistics, quantitative epidemiology, applied mathematics, or health informatics
  • B2 or C1 level in English
