Political Adviser - Forward for Animals

Core responsibilities:

• Contributing to deliver key outcomes throughout the European Commission's modernisation process of the animal welfare legislation, specifically in relation to the welfare of farm animals
• Working with institutional stakeholders in the European Commission, European Parliament, Council and build alliances around advocacy objectives
• Serving as the primary point of contact for member organisations active in a limited cluster of Member States (Nordic or Southern European countries)
• Producing advocacy arguments to shape key debates on farm animal welfare and drafting political calls, communications, campaigns, voting recommendations, and other advocacy materials

This role contributes to the modernisation of animal welfare legislation in the European Union, specifically improving the welfare of farm animals through advocacy and policy work.
