Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead TAEBA's engagement at ERCOT, including monitoring and participating in stakeholder committees, working groups, and task forces.
  • Draft, coordinate, and file TAEBA's ERCOT comments, position statements, presentations, and other written materials related to market rules and stakeholder initiatives.
  • Develop and execute ERCOT-focused policy and advocacy strategies that support advanced energy technologies, competitive markets, grid reliability, and consumer savings.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with ERCOT staff, market participants, TAEBA members, regulators, and other key stakeholders.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in policy analysis, policy advocacy, and/or market analysis; experience with FERC or competitive wholesale electricity markets strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including public speaking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop productive relationships with members, industry stakeholders, and policymakers.
