What you will drive
Core Responsibilities
- In partnership with the Executive Director, develop a compelling case for a standards-based approach to the training and welfare of assistance dogs
- Gather, analyze, and apply robust evidence to strengthen ADUK's credibility and influence on policy and campaigning issues
- Work with the Executive Director to identify opportunities for engaging with policymakers and supporting positive policy change
- Develop and deliver written and in-person reports and briefings for politicians, policy officials, and other decision-makers

What makes you a great fit
Required skills and experience:
- Experience working in policy, public affairs/campaigning role with understanding of policy development process
- Experience convening and facilitating advisory groups, panels or stakeholder forums
- Experience planning and delivering events, workshops or meetings supporting policy or stakeholder engagement
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop positive working relationships with diverse people and organizations
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills with experience producing briefings and consultation responses
