State Director, Oklahoma

Core responsibilities:

• Serve as PPFA and Action Fund's primary strategist and director of advocacy and electoral campaigns in Oklahoma
• Lead legislative advocacy, organizing, and state-level communications in coordination with national office staff and state advocacy organizations
• Manage relationships with legislative members, regulatory agencies, lobbyists, consultants, and coalition partners
• Oversee Action Fund's electoral endorsement process and ensure compliance with state lobbying requirements

This role protects and promotes reproductive health, rights, and justice in Oklahoma, working to defend access to sexual and reproductive healthcare and create conditions for change in states where access is under threat.

Required qualifications:

• At least 7 years of related advocacy and electoral campaign experience in organizing and management
• Minimum 3 years experience as a campaign manager or director with demonstrated proficiency in project management
• High school degree or equivalent required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage conflict and crisis creatively
• Working knowledge of voter databases (specifically VAN) preferred
