Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of ~150 major gift donors and qualified prospects, creating individualized engagement and stewardship plans for each donor
- Prospect, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors who give or have capacity to give $10,000+ annually in the Southern California region
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with donors for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, ensuring all interactions are tracked in the database
- Partner with donor organizing team to inspire and mobilize donors, organizing and participating in donor events and gatherings

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Minimum five years' experience directly soliciting major gifts ($10,000+) and prospecting for new donors
- Demonstrated success managing a portfolio of major donors with strong project management and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with donor databases and managing confidential information with meticulous attention to detail
- Knowledge of and passion for social justice, progressive movements, and/or Democratic politics
- Currently living in Los Angeles County with familiarity of the philanthropic landscape in Southern California
