Petrochemicals Analyst, South Asia

• Conduct research on economic implications, financial mechanisms, and market analysis to evaluate the role of petrochemicals in India's economy.
• Prepare forecasts and analysis of trends in the Indian petrochemical industry using statistical analysis and modeling.
• Engage with external stakeholders and represent IEEFA at meetings and industry events.
• Write original reports and commentaries on India's petrochemical industry.

This role helps accelerate a just transition from oil and gas by analyzing the petrochemical industry's economic and financial aspects, supporting climate commitments and a sustainable energy economy.

• 2-4 years' experience in economics or finance, with experience related to the Indian petrochemical industry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, or engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Proficient in finance, economics, and quantitative analysis; strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
