What you will drive

We're the global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive. We work as a team and we’re proud of the difference we make to customers, to local communities, and towards a sustainable future for the world.

We’re looking for a People Services Advisor to join our global team. The People Services Advisor supports the day-to-day queries that are raised with the regional People Services team as well as providing support and guidance to line managers on foundation cases, helping to develop the managers’ capability and skills to manage and resolve people queries and issues themselves.

Why Aggreko?

  • Fixed Term position to be based in Pune, India

  • Competitive compensation package

  • Industry-leading benefit plans

  • Continuous training and development with career growth opportunities

  • Safety-focused culture

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver timely and accurate People Administration services across the Middle East and India region.

  • Provide precise support in coordinating all employee lifecycle transactions, ensuring consistency, compliance with local HR legislation, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
This includes reviewing and updating all documentation—such as employment contracts and pre‑employment screening materials—in line with legislative changes.

  • Own the delivery of high‑quality, professional customer service by resolving day‑to‑day enquiries, issues, and complaints from employees and managers.

  • Respond promptly to Workday Help cases, escalating complex matters to subject-matter specialists or the People Services Manager when appropriate.

  • Proactively coach managers and employees to confidently use Workday, follow established processes and best practices, and apply relevant policies and guidance materials.

  • Support accurate management of people data within HR systems, including onboarding, offboarding, bulk data uploads, system updates, position management, and maintaining strong data quality standards.

  • Ensure all payroll-related data is prepared, validated, and submitted accurately and on time in accordance with payroll cut-off timelines.

  • Generate reports, metrics, and data insights to support People Team processes, decision‑making, and key events.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven HR generalist knowledge with global/cultural awareness.

  • Track record of applying legal and regulatory HR frameworks.

  • Experience in an operational/shared service environment.

  • Highly organized, diligent, and able to manage workload to meet SLAs under pressure.

  • Strong IT proficiency, confident communication (verbal & written).

  • Fluent English essential; business fluency in another language is a plus.

  • Proficiency with HR technology solutions, preferably Workday, and data management.
