People Services Advisor (6 Month FTC)

As a People Services Advisor, you will:

• Be the first point of contact for HR queries and provide a great experience for our people across the business by responding to their questions
• Manage the queue of enquiries to ensure responses give a great experience, support our people, and meet service levels
• Work with the Senior People Advisor to resolve complex queries and collaborate with other members of the People Team
• Maintain relevant content and policy documents, and actively seek opportunities to drive process and/or content improvements

This role supports OVO Energy's mission to solve the climate crisis by ensuring a high-quality employee experience, enabling the organization to effectively pursue its Plan Zero goal for a zero-carbon future.

Required skills and experience:

• Previous experience working within HR or HR Operations, with competence in using HR systems like Workday
• Experience using company policies and procedures and applying them to situations, and using ticketing systems like Jira
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to build relationships, and excellent problem-solving skills
• Results-focused with ability to manage competing priorities, proactive in achieving results, and attention to detail

Qualifications:

• Ideally working towards a CIPD qualification or a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or equivalent practical experience

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary: £25,086 - £32,000 depending on skills and experience
• On-target bonus of 15% based on collective performance to deliver Plan Zero goal
• 9% Flex Pay (4% auto-enrolled into pension, 5% for flexible benefits or cash)
