People Operations Manager

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for international and Nigeria-based staff, including sourcing, screening, and improving hiring processes.
• Own HR operations: onboarding, offboarding, HRIS management, leave/absence, performance reviews, and compensation benchmarking.
• Build scalable systems and processes to support Lafiya's growth from startup to scale-up.

By building strong teams and effective HR systems, you directly enable Lafiya to scale its life-saving contraception delivery to underserved communities, multiplying the impact of every program.

• 5-9 years of experience in people operations, HR, or recruitment with full-cycle recruiting and multiple open roles.
• Bachelor's degree required; experience in NGO, INGO, international development, or mission-driven startup preferred.
• Self-directed, evidence-driven, and comfortable working remotely across time zones.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, Airtable, and LLMs; experience recruiting in Sub-Saharan Africa is a plus.
