People Operations Lead

• Build and own Haven's people function from the ground up, shaping talent strategy and strengthening company culture
• Design and implement end-to-end recruiting processes, onboarding systems, performance management frameworks, and compensation structures
• Develop scalable training programs focused on manager enablement, leadership development, and role-based skill growth
• Oversee core people operations including compliance, documentation, HRIS management, and policy development

This role creates positive change by building the people foundation for a mission-driven company that's modernizing the electric grid through battery storage and solar deployment, contributing to a more resilient and sustainable energy future.

• 5–10 years of experience in People Operations, Talent, HRBP, or similar role at an early-stage startup
• Experience building people programs, processes, and systems from scratch with strong foundation in recruiting, performance management, and compensation
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills with ability to navigate ambiguity and create clarity
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with experience in HRIS, ATS, and people analytics tools preferred
