Mission
What you will drive
Programme interns work directly with Concordis programme teams on all aspects of designing, implementing and evaluating peacebuilding programmes. Main areas of work include:
- Research, conflict & data analysis, media reviews and report writing
- Monitoring international and regional institutions and grant making organizations for funding opportunities
- Providing practical, logistical and administrative support to programme teams
- Researching sources of funding and drafting applications for funding

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Concordis welcomes applications from potential interns who have:
- An interest in peacebuilding at a conceptual level and a curiosity about how it works in practice
- A relevant masters degree in international relations, development studies, conflict analysis or similar
- Professional level French and English (Arabic would be a bonus)
- Experience in Excel, PowerBI, QGIS or other mapping software, Kobo Collect
Benefits
What's in it for you
Volunteer position with no salary or stipend, but Concordis will reimburse reasonable expenses including a small daily lunch allowance of £5/day. Interns receive high level of relevant experience, including training from senior members of staff, and gain concrete experience in research, programme management and funding within the international development sector.
