Mission

What you will drive

  • Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for all employees using Paylocity, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and grant requirements.
  • Prepare and post payroll to the general ledger, maintain tracking spreadsheets, and support month-end closure.
  • Assist with audits (financial, benefits, funder, workers' comp) and prepare required documentation for state/federal filings and grant reporting.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries, resolve issues, and cross-train with other finance functions.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in multi-state payroll processing (required); fund accounting and grants experience (preferred).
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
  • Strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
