Payroll Specialist - Union Benefits

Core responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality customer service and professionalism when responding to payroll inquiries from internal customers
• Respond timely to payroll questions with first call resolution
• Analyze details of requests to determine causes of issues and investigate to provide effective solutions
• Log all calls accurately to allow tracking of service inquiries and resolutions

This role supports Republic Services' environmental mission by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees who work to advance circularity, support decarbonization, and create a more sustainable world through waste management and recycling services.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of payroll experience
• Experience with high volume customer service environments
• Intermediate level of MS Excel skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in high-volume, fast-paced environments with strict deadlines
• Workday experience preferred
