Payroll Analyst I

• Produce accurate payroll entries for unionized employees represented by over 175 local CBAs, including reviewing and interpreting Collective Bargaining Agreement ratifications.
• Prepare and analyze union health & welfare, pension contribution calculations, and monthly reporting; maintain and report accurate union dues deductions.
• Audit payroll cycles for accuracy of deductions, retro calculations, FLSA OT premiums, and union benefit premiums; process special payments per CBAs.
• Collaborate with HR, Total Rewards, HRIS, and field management; prepare payroll reports and support system testing.

This role ensures accurate and timely compensation for unionized employees, supporting fair labor practices and the financial well-being of workers in the environmental services industry.

• Minimum 3 years of payroll, finance, or relevant experience; experience with multi-state payroll processing and large companies (10K+ employees).
• Experience with multiple union payrolls and knowledge of FLSA regular rate of pay calculation.
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP); experience with Workday or similar HCM and payroll applications (ADP, Lawson, Ceridian, Kronos).
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
