Partnership Development Officer (United Kingdom)

Core responsibilities:

• Developing and managing a portfolio of current and potential partners in the multilateral and bilateral sector active in the global energy transition
• Building an overall public sector partnership strategy for RMI with international and European public sector donors
• Meeting annual fundraising/revenue and influence targets of RMI's public sector vertical
• Working with RMI program teams to create compelling funder-facing proposals and presentations

This role creates positive change by developing partnerships and securing funding to support RMI's mission of accelerating the global energy transition, which addresses climate change and promotes sustainable energy systems.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of seven years' work experience building international partnerships and achieving revenue objectives with major public sector funders
• 5+ years working on topics of energy transition such as industrial decarbonization, energy efficiency, grid modernization
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and/or participating in successful strategies and securing new agreements at six-figure to eight-figure levels
• Experience working successfully with top-level Executives in a fast-paced environment

Compensation and benefits:

• Base salary determined by experience, market benchmarks, and internal equity
