About the Role / Overview

Responsibilities / What You'll Do
- Increase the base of active Volunteer Guides and Volunteer Musicians in your community
- Research and identify new ideas and strategies for identifying and recruiting prospective volunteers
- Work with the Program Manager to build and sustain collaborative relationships with community-based organizations, residents, and community stakeholders
- Assist with development of culturally appropriate outreach materials (flyers, newsletters, social media content)
- Proactively research and connect with local musicians and charitable individuals to expand MOC's volunteer pipeline
- Represent the organization at outreach events, recruitment fairs, festivals, and by engaging local businesses and other general community events
- Attend and provide in-person support of local MOC events, including recruitment, volunteer appreciation and fundraising events
- Provide in-person support of MOC Bedside shifts at hospital partners, including acting as a fill-in volunteer and/or onsite Certified Volunteer Trainer
- Support storytelling efforts that highlight community impact and volunteer contributions

Benefits
What's in it for you
