Part-Time Managing Director of Major Gifts

• Identify and cultivate new sources of financial support for the Congo Peace School, including individual donors, churches, temples, and small family foundations.
• Leverage existing networks and major gifts experience to amplify the organization's message and grow the funding base.
• Utilize grant research tools and a pre-existing database to expand funding opportunities.

This role directly supports the Congo Peace School, which provides daily meals, trauma-informed education, and safe spaces for over 600 children in eastern Congo, helping them survive war and extreme poverty.

• Major gifts experience, either as an associate or at a director level.
• Experience fundraising for Africa.
• Knowledge of the landscape of Africa-supporting individuals, churches, temples, etc.
• Experience with grant research tools to identify small family foundations.

Part-time remote position with a salary of $70,000 annually plus benefits and insurance, totaling $84,600 annually.

Action Kivu is a 501c3 nonprofit that operates the Congo Peace School in partnership with the Dillon Henry Foundation, providing quality education rooted in peace and nonviolence to children in eastern Congo.
