Organizing Director

• Lead Sunrise's national organizing strategy to grow the membership base across race, class, and geography.
• Oversee organizing infrastructure, leadership development, membership strategy, and organizing staff.
• Serve on the Senior Leadership Team to shape organizational priorities and ensure alignment with long-term goals.

This role directly builds a multiracial, cross-class movement to win a Green New Deal, empowering volunteer leaders and growing the base to achieve federal governing power for climate justice.

• At least 5 years participating in local, state or national campaigns, including in multi-racial contexts.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role in an organizing project.
• Experience managing teams and multiple streams of work, with ability to line manage 3-4 people.

Salary: $75,000-$95,000 annually depending on experience. Benefits include 100% paid premiums for health care, dental, and vision, unlimited paid vacation, option to contribute to 401k and voluntary life insurance. Special city allowance for metro/micro area residents.
