Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Execute recruitment efforts at scientific conferences, universities, and other venues to engage new Science Network members
  • Support and implement organizing and advocacy trainings to equip Science Network members with skills for effective advocacy
  • Conduct 1:1 meetings with Science Network members to support their engagement and leadership development
  • Design and implement strategies to diversify the Science Network and ensure all activities are accessible and inclusive

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (comparable training/experience can be substituted)
  • 4+ years of work experience with organizing and/or policy advocacy, particularly on a national level
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge and familiarity with racial equity and inclusion principles and experience building relationships while centering equity
