Job Description:

The opportunity:

Act as a single point of contact for the Italy Service unit and handle Order Handling activities.

How you'll make an impact:

  • Responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services as per the standard process workflow, creating purchase orders and ensuring they are accurate and timely.

  • Transmit POs to suppliers and Expedites delivery when needed/ requested.

  • Monitoring Inventory levels and ensuring timely reordering of suppliers.

  • Assure that relevant systems are updated with procurement data, such as supplier, price, payment terms and other conditions.

  • Evaluating the quality of goods received and ensuring they meet specifications.

  • Follow up with PM and warehouse team to ensure GRN done in time. Address and resolve the invoices and ensure on time payment.

  • Maintaining supplier relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.

  • Collaborating with other departments, such as Project Management, Technical, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth operations. Resolve conflicts proactively and if needed escalate, seek help from Team lead or Management to ensure progress is on track.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical /Mechanical).

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in supply chain.

  • Experience in Order Handling process.

  • Proficient in understanding Order Handling and concepts. 

  • Ability to work out of offshore/remote locations. 

  • Stakeholder management through continuous interaction with business leaders and partners across the globe. 

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
