Operations Specialist II

Core responsibilities:

• Review and reconcile expenses on sponsored research accounts; assist with preparing and finalizing financial reports
• Support ongoing financial reporting workflows and compliance processes
• Provide administrative and operational support for the lab, including ordering and tracking laboratory materials and supplies
• Coordinate student intern and rotation requests; serve as a primary point of contact for prospective trainees

This role supports the financial, sponsored research, and operational activities of a fast-paced academic research group, enabling scientific discovery and research advancement.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• At least 2 years of relevant professional operational support experience, preferably in an academic or research environment
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: $70,000 - $94,000 USD annual
