Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Manage and implement the Coalition's day-to-day operations and administration, including financial tracking, accounts receivable/payable, organizational administration, hiring and compliance, Board Liaison services, fundraising impact tracking, and event assistance.
  • Support financial operations by entering and managing data in QuickBooks and donor management platforms, preparing reports, coordinating with accounting firms, processing donations, and assisting with budgeting.
  • Handle operations and HR tasks such as regulatory filings, payroll, expense reimbursements, maintaining donor platforms and websites, supporting staff onboarding, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Plan and coordinate events including fundraising events, Legislative Day, and Legislative Reception, managing logistics, registration, and communication with participants and partners.

What makes you a great fit

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in business/organizational financial and/or operations support.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and donor management platforms (e.g., CharityEngine).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams), work management platforms (e.g., Asana), creative software (e.g., Canva, Adobe), and WordPress/website maintenance.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit accounting and HR best practices, strong organizational and time-management skills, effective communication with diverse stakeholders, and experience planning meetings and events.
