Operations Manager

• Plan, allocate, and supervise scaffolding work crews.
• Inspect scaffolding materials and structures before, during, and after erection.
• Always ensure scaffolding stability and safety.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety plans.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, incidents, and maintenance.
• Train new staff on scaffolding safety protocols and techniques.
• Coordinate with project managers and other supervisors to align scaffolding activities with project timelines.
• Manage scaffolding inventory and order materials as needed.
• Resolve on-site scaffolding issues promptly.

This role ensures safe and efficient scaffolding operations on construction sites, contributing to workplace safety and project success in the green energy sector.

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in construction management is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CISRS Advanced Scaffolding / SMSTS Manager Training or OSHA Construction Safety.
• Several years of experience in scaffolding, including supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and local regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

• Annual Holiday Entitlement of 25 days (extra day per year up to 28) plus bank holidays
• £65,000 - £75,000 depending on experience
