Operations Coordinator

• Oversee financial bookkeeping, maintain receipts/invoices/approvals, and coordinate payroll-related financial inputs.
• Manage UK charity governance, including filings, board finance items, and liaison with accountants/lawyers.
• Support systems and tools (Notion), serve as first-line support, and improve/automate workflows.
• Build donor relationships, manage donor database, develop email journeys, and assist with donor reports.

This role ensures the smooth operation of Shrimp Welfare Project, enabling the organization to scale its efforts to improve the welfare of farmed shrimp, a highly neglected area of animal suffering.

• Experience in operations, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
• Experience with UK charity governance/compliance or ability to learn quickly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
• Familiarity with technology solutions such as data systems, automation tools, or AI-driven systems.
