Online Events Lead (Volunteer)

As Online Events Lead, you will take ownership of our online event series, including expert consulting sessions, workshops, and monthly community events. You'll work closely with the Marketing, Consulting, and Community Engagement teams to design, promote, and deliver outstanding online experiences that educate, connect, and activate our community.

• Own our online events strategy by shaping and managing the full lifecycle of our online events
• Handle event planning, management, and execution to ensure every event runs smoothly
• Lead expert consulting and monthly event series by managing and scaling our expert consulting sessions and recurring community events
• Collaborate across teams for promotion and engagement to ensure events are well-promoted, well-attended, and well-executed
• Lead and coordinate event team members by managing a small remote team of volunteers supporting events

This role creates positive change by strengthening engagement across a global climate collaboration network, connecting founders, investors, policymakers, community leaders, and mission-driven changemakers to turn climate ambition into real-world action.

• Experience organizing, hosting, or managing online events or webinars
• Comfort working with online event tools (Zoom, Circle, etc.)
• Experience coordinating speakers, timelines, and promotion
• Strong event organizational and planning skills
• Confident communicator and host
• Event management and execution skills
• Team-oriented and leadership skills with managing online event team members
• Passion for climate, sustainability, or community-building
• Ability to coordinate and work with marketing, consulting and engagement team to create, promote and execute on outstanding events

This is a volunteer position with no salary mentioned.
