Mission

What you will drive

  • Plan and implement solar co-ops/Solar Switch campaigns, including partner cultivation, public info sessions, member support, and installer selection.
  • Conduct policy, regulatory, and market research to support state program goals; assist with grant applications and reporting.
  • Engage with legislators, local governments, and partner organizations to advance policy and programmatic goals; provide technical assistance on solar adoption.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain web content, create advocacy resources, and represent the program at events and coalitions.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Resident of Ohio with minimum 2 years of experience in community organizing, solar/renewables, or project management/coordination.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and well-developed relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work remotely, travel frequently within Ohio (1-2 trips/month), and attend biannual retreats.
  • Ability to plan and execute presentations and events; manage multiple complex projects.
