Officer, Mid-level Giving & Prospecting

Core responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 100+ donors giving between $1,000 and $5,000 annually to ensure donor retention and upgrades, building and maintaining relationships through both mass and personalized outreach
• Conduct proactive and reactive research to identify, vet and prioritize new prospective donors (individuals, corporations, and foundations) aligned with the organization's mission and priorities
• Coordinate recognition efforts, impact updates, engagement opportunities, event invitations and other donor communications to ensure timely cultivation and stewardship of the mid-level and major giving portfolio
• Maintain accurate records and tracking systems for donor prospects, ensuring data accuracy and collection of actionable information and insights

This role strengthens Equality Now's fundraising pipeline to advance gender equality and protect the rights of women and girls worldwide through legal and systemic change.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, development, donor relations, or nonprofit advancement
• Demonstrated understanding of donor engagement, stewardship strategies, and best practices in mid-level giving and donor pipeline development
• Knowledge of the nonprofit social justice sector is required, specific understanding of international human rights or women's rights is highly desirable
• Proficiency with fundraising databases and CRM systems; experience with Raiser's Edge/NXT is strongly preferred

• Base Salary Range: $55,880 - $68,612 USD
