Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Support the development and preparation of the nutrition programme and manage, implement, monitor, evaluate, and report the programme progress of the Nutrition emergency component
- Provide technical guidance and management support throughout programming processes to achieve concrete and sustainable results in maternal, infant and child nutrition programmes/projects
- Carry out responsibilities according to plans, allocation, results-based-management approaches, UNICEF's Strategic Plans, and accountability framework

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Advanced university degree in nutrition, public health, nutritional epidemiology, global/international health and nutrition, health/nutrition research, policy/management, health sciences, or another health-related field
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in a developing country in nutrition, public health, nutrition planning and management, or maternal, infant, and child health/nutrition care
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of another UN official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) or local language is an asset
- Experience in health/nutrition programme/project development and management in a UN system agency or organization is desirable
