Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Review and strengthen methodologies, tools, sampling, community-based screening approaches, data collection mechanisms, information flows, quality assurance, storage, and protection for evidence generation and real-time monitoring
- Review existing conceptual frameworks and operational strategies for acute malnutrition to adapt them to Venezuela's context, emphasizing low-access, hard-to-reach, and mobile populations
- Support the amendment of current work plans and program documents with implementing partners in alignment with the humanitarian response plan
- Conduct rapid capacity needs assessments and develop/deliver modular training packages for implementing partners

This role creates positive change by reinforcing UNICEF's capacity to provide life-saving nutrition services to vulnerable children in Venezuela, particularly in Severity 4 and 5 municipalities, through evidence-based programming, capacity building of local partners, and strengthening of coordination mechanisms within the humanitarian response system.

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Experience in nutrition programming, particularly in humanitarian contexts
- Knowledge of IMAM/CMAM, IYCF-E, and MAMI Care Pathway frameworks
- Ability to work with diverse populations including indigenous peoples, children with disabilities, and mobile populations
- Experience with data collection, monitoring, and dashboard development (Power BI/ActivityInfo/Kobo)
- Fluency in Spanish for producing materials and conducting training
