Mission
What you will drive
Lead the financial direction and oversee accounting operations for a portfolio of 10-12 nonprofit clients, pairing high-level financial analysis and advising with hands-on oversight of bookkeeping.
- Lead and support annual budgeting processes, including operational budgets, restricted grant budgets, and federal/state grant budgets
- Prepare budget-to-actual reports and provide clear analysis for leadership and boards
- Deliver monthly financial forecasts and reports, incorporating regular analysis and actionable insights
- Review, develop, document, and update finance processes, procedures, and systems

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Proven experience in nonprofit financial management, including 990 preparation, nonprofit audits, FASB and GAAP requirements, and restricted funds management
- Advanced QuickBooks skills (Preferably ProAdvisor Certified)
- Proficiency in accounting software, financial tools, and software like QuickBooks Online, Google Sheets, Excel, SaasAnt, Google Workspace, Dropbox, Expensify, Slack, Double, Zoom, Gusto
- Exceptional client service skills with a proactive approach to solving problems
