Nonprofit Finance Manager

• Serve as the dedicated finance lead and primary point of contact for 10+ nonprofit client accounts, building trusted relationships with executives and stakeholders
• Prepare comprehensive monthly GAAP-compliant financial statements and translate financial data into clear, actionable analysis for nonprofit leaders
• Lead annual budgeting processes, facilitate stakeholder meetings, and develop multi-year financial projections and scenario planning models
• Manage grant and restricted funding compliance, payroll allocation, and ensure audit readiness through proper documentation

This role helps nonprofit organizations more effectively utilize limited resources and make a more powerful impact on the people and communities they serve by providing expert financial analysis, strategy, and management.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, nonprofit management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2-5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience with minimum 3 years in nonprofit finance (direct employment, consulting, or financial services to nonprofits)
• Proven experience in nonprofit financial management including 990 preparation, nonprofit audits, FASB/GAAP requirements, and restricted funds management
• Advanced QuickBooks skills (preferably ProAdvisor Certified) and proficiency with financial tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and various software integrations
