What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Develop a compliant indirect cost rate methodology in accordance with 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance)
  • Prepare all required NICRA documentation and schedules, including financial analysis and schedule preparation
  • Strengthen internal understanding of indirect cost allocation within the organization
  • Successfully submit a complete NICRA proposal to the cognizant agency (USDA or Department of Interior)

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Prior experience developing and negotiating NICRAs with nonprofits or similar entities
  • Expertise in federal grants accounting and 2 CFR 200 compliance, including allowable cost determination and cost allocation principles
  • Proven experience calculating and documenting indirect cost rates with reconciliation to financial statements, payroll, and fringe benefit data
  • Ability to assess and align financial systems, internal controls, and documentation to meet federal review requirements
