New York Senior Program Manager

• Lead the New York Conservation Partnership Program (NYCPP) and Forest Conservation Easements for Land Trust (FCELT) Program, including grants management, budgeting, and state contracting.
• Manage policy and advocacy efforts with the NY legislature and state agencies to advance land conservation priorities.
• Oversee education and training programs, including the annual NY Land Conservation Conference, and supervise a team of three staff.

This role directly strengthens land conservation across New York by managing grant programs that protect forests and natural lands, advancing state policies for conservation, and building capacity for land trusts to save more land for communities and the environment.

• Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years' experience with nonprofit organizations, preferably in land conservation.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated success in fundraising from foundations, corporations, and individuals.
• Strong project management experience with a minimum of 4 years in budget and grant management.

Salary range: $95,000 – $105,000 annually. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, personal, sick, and holiday leave, and 403(b) retirement benefits.
